Basketball was created by James Naismith.

Basketball is a sport that is played with two teams and each team there are more or less twelve basketball players. Basketball consist on putting the ball into a basket. The team which has more points in a match wins.

Around the world there are a lot of leagues and a lot of teams. Here, in Spain, there is A.C.B (Association Clubs Basket). In this league there are some important teams of the world, for example: F.C.Barcelona, Real Madrid, D.K.V Joventut, and more...

Out of Spain there are more leagues and in America, in U.S.A, there is the most important league, N.B.A (National Basket Association).
